Going to have to get the album off iTunes, I think! This album was released in '67 but the group formed in '65. It's very interesting to dig into the folk-rock scene in that period and see how it morphed into the country-rock scene, often involving the same characters.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278705729653063081.post-12126998593926681832012-05-11T14:18:14.649+09:002012-05-11T14:18:14.649+09:00i saw them at the ice house in glendale california...i saw them at the ice house in glendale california at the end of the sixties and i can still feel the good vibrations . they were more folk back then and a great group. only wish there was more music to hear.thanks very much.johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17777244421975732778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278705729653063081.post-79206613805109961722012-05-09T00:52:19.055+09:002012-05-09T00:52:19.055+09:00http://www.mediafire.com/?39ysek6jzdurjjkhttp://www.mediafire.com/?39ysek6jzdurjjkAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278705729653063081.post-88297893736182966282012-03-28T01:40:59.880+09:002012-03-28T01:40:59.880+09:00Hello Doc,

Some of the tracks, such as (Leadbelly's?) When I Was a Cowboy and (Arlo Guthrie's) Highway in the Wind, wouldn't sound out of place in Beachwood Sparks' Once We Were Trees!

There is a 2CD set with both albums and another album's worth of additional tracks. A real must!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278705729653063081.post-37590711806034919822012-02-09T12:45:43.909+09:002012-02-09T12:45:43.909+09:00Thanks Dr. Schluss! Speaking of psychedelic subgenres that don't get much attention, when are you going to put some psychedelic soul on your blog. I think the Temptations' 1990 is right up your alley!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
